  • Follow the Leave no Trace principles

 

 Protect the environment

  • Reduce, recycle and reuse as you travel
  • Always put waste in the bin
  • Conserve water - take short showers, fill the sink
  • Do not use soap in rivers or waterbodies

 

Be wildlife aware

  • Keep your distance
  • Never feed wildlife
  • Avoid night driving in sensitive wildlife areas
  • Learn about Australia’s unique wildlife and ecosystems

We are proud to have achieved Ecotourism Australia certification for over 10 years, which means we are listed as a green travel leader in the Green Travel Guide. In 2024 we progressed to the new Sustainable Tourism certification.  

The sustainable tourism certification process is based on a comprehensive review Sustainable Tourism Certification by Ecotourism Australia certifies business through independent audits applied to assess tourism businesses and operators. The Sustainable Tourism Certification program certifies that businesses are minimising negative impacts and maximising benefits for the environment, communities and culture.
