Known as the ‘Pearl of the North’, Broome is a beach town that can be found in the beautiful Kimberly region of Western Australia. When you visit Broome you won’t be able to resist the allure of the easy going way of life. However, with that being said, there’s no shortage of adventures to embark on in this town and its surrounding region.
Things to do in Broome
Broome’s Cable Beach is known the world over for its brilliant white sands, turquoise waters and of course, the sunset camel-back rides through the edge of the surf.
Broome is also known for pearl harvesting, hence its nickname. Some of the largest and most sought after pearls in the world are harvested in Broome and you can even visit a pearl farm and experience, firsthand, how pearls are cultured while learning about the rich history of the industry.

Where to Stay in Broome
If you’re keen to stay in town after you pick up your campervan or motorhome, we recommend staying at Palm Grove Holiday Resort. This holiday park is just a 10 minute walk from the beach and it will give you a chance to get familiar with your vehicle before driving too far from the Broome Cheapa Campa branch.
